Gracyn Received a Heart Transplant

Gracyn, a young mom, received a heart transplant and now is pursuing her dream of helping others.

Gracyn received a heart transplant, and her journey is nothing short of amazing. She faced a tough battle when she found out she had a rare genetic mutation that hurt her heart badly. Just doing everyday things became really hard, especially taking care of her kids. But Gracyn didn’t give up. She worked closely with her doctors, managed her condition to the best of her ability, and after waiting for a while she finally got a heart transplant. Now, she is chasing her dream of becoming a transplant nurse, wanting to help others like she was helped.

She honors her donor hero by living for her donor with a new purpose for her life, to help others and make a difference. Every day, she is thankful for the gift received.
